Beyond beautiful.
Good design isn’t about adding more.
It’s about knowing what belongs.
We believe homes should feel calm before they feel impressive. Defined by light, proportion, craftsmanship, and materials that grow more beautiful with time—not by passing trends.
Every project begins with curiosity. We consider the architecture, the people who will live there, and the quiet rituals that shape everyday life.
From there, each decision builds upon the last, refining every detail until the home feels effortless, collected, and deeply personal.
The result isn’t simply an interior. It’s a home with presence.
Marcelle Timonen ASID
Founder/Principal Designer
Inspired by observation. Defined by intuition.
Design has always been less about decoration and more about observation. For over two decades, Marcelle has studied the way architecture, light, texture, and material shape the experience of home. Her work is informed as much by travel, fine art, and historic architecture as it is by the quiet rituals of everyday living.
She is known for uncovering possibility where others see limitation—reimagining floor plans, revealing architectural character, and layering natural materials into homes that feel timeless rather than trend-driven.
As Founder and Principal Designer of Haus of Rowe, Marcelle leads every project with curiosity, thoughtful restraint, and an instinct for creating spaces that are as functional as they are emotionally resonant. Her work reflects a belief that true luxury is never performative, it is lived.
After more than twenty years of collaborating with discerning homeowners, leading builders, and skilled artisans, one principle continues to define her approach:
The best interiors don’t compete for attention.
They quietly become part of the lives lived within them.
Kate Adamcsek CID, ASID
Founder/Principal Designer
Driven by curiosity. Refined through precision.
Kate has always believed that exceptional design begins with asking better questions. Curious by nature and deeply analytical, she approaches every project with a thoughtful balance of creativity and precision. She is drawn to the complexities of interior architecture, carefully studying proportion, circulation, and the countless details that shape the way a home is experienced.
Her work is defined by technical excellence. From architectural space planning and cabinetry design to detailed construction drawings and interior elevations, Kate transforms ideas into beautifully resolved realities with remarkable clarity and care.
At Haus of Rowe, she is the bridge between vision and execution, ensuring every line, dimension, and detail contributes to a home that feels intuitive, refined, and enduring.
Because the most successful designs are rarely accidental.
They’re thoughtfully resolved—long before construction begins.
